Cinderella
Our latest Italian Video. The classic tale of Cinderella starring: Kim Brown, Marc Wittwer, Sarina Hicken, Kara Brown, Austin Hillyard, and Beatrice Lualdi.
Vengeance
This is my senior project film. The idea was to do a Hitchcockian style film. The two main character, Martin Corvino (Connor Queen) and Robbin Russell (Kristen Crofts), are just getting over a break-up when things take a turn for the worst...
German Robin Hood
Our other co-founder, Adam, made this for his German class. It is the classic tale of Robin Hood.
MacBeth's Kicks
Okay, this isn't actually a video-it's a song. For English we had to do a "rap" of the story of Macbeth. We did have the option of just changing the words of another song-which we did. So here's the story of Macbeth to "Pumped up Kicks" by Foster the People.
The Mysterious Mystery
Our Italian Video involving the element of mystery. Figure out who the killer is when bodies start showing up with card tricks around the time of the Homecoming Dance. Also, our first video, with music, completed with all original content. That's correct we created everything you see and here in the video.
Beowulf
This video is a project that we did for English after reading the epic poem, "Beowulf." We had to demonstrate that we understood the story and how it relates to today. The video covers the first battle in the epic, the battle with Grendel. It then shows a few "Grendels" that are present in today's society and their "Beowulfs."
Vengeance Trailer
The trailer for "Vengeance." Simply put- pure awesomeness in 50 seconds.
The Princess Bride
Our final Italian skit of the school year. We enjoyed filming it and adding a few new members to our cast. We'll be losing two of them (from the Italian videos anyway-only one for all videos) next year.
Hansel And Gretel: In Reverse
What happens when you put the classic tale of Hansel and Gretel backwards? Another Italian skit starring Austin Hillyard and Jesse McCammon. The idea for this video came from an activity we did in Italian. We had just read Hansel and Gretel and we got a set of pictures to put in order and write captions for. I decided to challenge myself and do it backward. We liked it so much we decided it would be our video when we were told we had to make a video that had to do with a fairy tale.
Galaxy Class Invisibility Cloak TM Commercial
Originally this was part of a Health Report about allergies. However, when I discovered we had to do a commercial for my communications class I Stole this from that video and added the "famous person" on the end. Enjoy. (by the way it is pronounced ga lacks ee).
Claymation dude
More Claymation
The Claymation Videos
So, the two videos above I made the same day. I was bored and found some of my modeling clay, so I made a video. The snake is pretty lame but the guy is pretty legit. It goes from a ball to a volcano, to a guy, and back to a ball.
The Fight Trilogy-#3: Il Gran Finale
Ok, this video is kind of hard to follow. If you don't get it I recommend watching the first two videos in the trilogy. The main idea is that Jesse decides he doesn't want to be miserably pathetic and the bulk of the video shows how he goes about doing that. His problem however is that he is still pathetic while trying to be 'gangsta'. That's why the suspenders, stealing 'candy' from a baby-it's actually ice cream in the video-and doing the chalk vandilism. However, he runs into Austin (who killed him in "The Fight"). Our brainstorming process started with the "Thriller" opening creditst. We were trying to top all of our previous videos in awesomeness. From "Thriller" we developed the first scene-the smoking scene. The next idea was to show how he became 'less pathetic' but still was. Then we decided we would kill both the charcters in the end. ...and that's the story of this video.
The Fight Trilogy-#2: The Resurrection
This video was kind of just a filler video for our trilogy. We decided we would do a trilogy after we did "The Fight". Sorry, it's short. We wanted to leave it as open as possible for the third video. We decided the best way to do that was to have Jesse be resurrected and have a cliffhanger. It worked.
The Fight Trilogy-#1: The Fight
When we filmed and planned this video we had no idea we would decide to do a trilogy-thus Jesse's death and the need for resurrection. The idea was to do something that we hadn't seen in the Italian skits yet-violence and gore. so...we did it. Basically, Austin and Jesse are talking and Jesse starts the fight. If you were wondering why we had the lines 'I have departed' and 'you have departed' in the end we had just learned that tense and we had to include four lines in our video that used it.
The Cyborg
This was our first attempt at a sci-fi video. We filmed at Adam's cabin with no script. We just made it up as we went-if you can't tell. Basically, there's a cyborg and it's a problem. you can't see the fight scene at the end but all you need to know about it is that the cyborg got dead.
History:Early Japan and Korea
This is the first video of our High School video careers. It was an assignment for our honors world history class. We had to take a section of the book and make a video out of it and then we had a quiz that we had to make as well. I'm not sure how we came up with the 'Magical Cardboard Box' except that we wanted to do something similar to the "Magic Tree House" books.
