Biography
Austin began his career in film and film editing in his late childhood. For Christmas one year (2003 or 2004) he got a Digital Blue camera and editing software. This sparked his interest in creating films. Very quickly his friend and neighbor, Adam, began to join in the fun as they would create short videos (up to about 3 minutes) whenever they could. They made a variety of videos, but they were, however, very far from perfect (or good for that matter). They found themselves making "news" videos that bored even them.
They began to work on their techniques and skills. As they got better they started putting credits in their videos. They decided they needed some sort of way to signify that they were the creators of the videos in the credits-besides just their names. And thus A&A Productions was born. (About 2007-2008) The A&A of course standing for Austin and Adam.
As they have now been going through High School and making videos for classes the name has stuck. Any video made for school, or for fun, by one of the two has the label "A&A Productions, Inc." slapped on it.
Austin, who is a grade ahead of Adam, began making films for school first. His first video for school was a video for his history class about Japan and Korea. Then he began getting assigned videos for his Italian class (a regular occurence now), now one of the main "genres", if you want to call it that, that A&A Production has been known for. Occasionally, he does videos just for fun, among these are "The Cyborg"-which was filmed in one night at Adam's cabin in Island Park, ID- and a few other experimental videos.
Austin has also taken control of the general business of the "company"-maintaining the website, communicating events, directing, etc.
As the summer of 2011 began and Austin neared his senior year of High School he is began the biggest project of his career-his senior project. He made a short film (about 20 min.) in the style of Alfred Hitchcock. This short film is called "Vengeance."
Production of "Vengeance" was just completed (January 29, 2012) and it will be premiering Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Paramount Triplex in Idaho Falls.
"Vengeance" is a story of revenge-hence the title 'vengeance'- death and love-to some extent. In this Hitchcockian thriller full of suspense Martin Corvino (Connor Queen) just can't get over his break-up with Robin Russell (Kristen Crofts). Watch "Vengeance" to find out how he deals with his problem and the consequences of his actions....
